Default insurance company buys back the policy

I don't understand what this phrase means "insurance company buys back the policy" I am unsure as to fixing or selling my home and I saw this phrase in one of the other threads in this forum.

Thank you,

This basically means that the insurance company will tender policy limits which on your policy will reflect the amount indicated by "Schedule A". At this time you will surrender your policy back to the insurance company which will leave you without coverage. This is what is meant by the insurance company will "buy your policy back".
