Question Under my house?

This may sound like a dumb question..but I believe the only dumb question is the one that does not get asked.. :) I believe that there is a sinkhole UNDER my house. I have read about how to fix a sinkhole (large rocks, big rocks, smaller rocks, pebbles, layer of material, sand, soil), but how do you dig UNDER your house to do something like that? How can I find out for sure that there is a sinkhole there?

Sorry for taking so long to respond!!
How you fix a sinkhole underneath the property is to drill injection pipes around the property both battered and vertical. Once these are installed start pumping concrete through the injection pipes one lift at a time until you finally pull that pipe out and then move on to the next pipe and repeat the process untill all voids underneath the property have been filled.

And as how to find out if you have sinkhole activity underneath the property, the only way to be sure is to have the property drilled by a geotechnical engineer that can determine what the soils are doing.

Hope this helps.
